Welcome to our series Golfers We Love. Where we interview women who love the game of golf. Whether they play professionally, work in the industry or just love to play occasionally, we want to share their stories with you!
This week, we’d like to introduce you to our favorite Nashville realtor Sydney Salati!

Name: Sydney Salati
First, thank you so much for answering some questions with us! To kick us off, when did you start playing golf and was it love at first swing?
I started playing golf in September of 2017. First time I made contact with the ball, I was hooked!
So you’re fairly new to the game! That’s awesome! Who got you into golf?
My parents tried to get me to play my entire life but I contribute Jessa Houser to getting me really into playing.
Very cool. We love seeing women bringing their friends into the game. Being newer to the game, what is your favorite aspect of golf?
I LOVE being able to see myself improve. But I try to not be hard on myself or keep score closely. I find myself measuring how I am doing based off of the number of balls the I lose or how many putts I had per hole. WAY easier way to see improvement 🙂
That’s a great way to practice. Really takes the pressure off when you’re just out playing for fun. So if someone asked you why you love the game of golf, what would you tell them?
I love golf because it is an escape from reality. I also love that it allows you to connect with people on a deeper level. As a good friend once told me, you can tell a lot about a person based off of how they play the game. (Thanks for that Anna)
It really is true. You spend 4-5 hours with someone and you really start to get to know them. Okay, you are a realtor in Nashville…how has golf helped you?
Golf has allowed me to meet new people and grow my pipe line of clients very organically. It allows me to connect to a number of people by common interest that I would have never connected with before.
Love it! We’re always pushing women to use golf as a business tool. It’s great to see it in action! Okay….now some off-topic questions! Let’s get to know you a little more. What would be your first question after waking up from being cryogenically frozen for 100 years?
Do I have family, if so I would want to know where they were….. also would be pretty curious to be caught up on current events hahah!
Crazy, yes! Family would be a great question. And there’d be so much to catch up on! What are your hobbies besides golf?
I love hanging out with my dog Beau and I also enjoy spending time with the amazing amazing people in my life. I am kinda obsessed with my job in real estate sooo id also consider it a hobby 😉
Isn’t it great when you’re job is something that you love doing? That’s so wonderful that it worked out for you like that! Did you play other sports growing up?
I played a couple years of softball, couple years of soccer BUT danced until I was 17!
Wow! Well, as you’ve probably seen, we could use some help in the dance department. That’s so impressive! Alright, last question for you. What is something you’ve been meaning to try but just haven’t gotten around to it yet?
A few things. Number one on that list is to travel more outside of the county. Id also really like to learn to speak Italian 🙂
We are so on board with that first one. Please take us with you! That was fun, thank you so much Sydney!
