Posted: January 19, 2018 by Armana Christianson

Welcome to our series Golfers We Love. Where we interview women who love the game of golf. Whether they play professionally, work in the industry or just love to play occasionally, we want to share their stories with you!

This week, we’d like to introduce you to our very good friend Fiamma Felitch!

First, thank you so much for answering some questions with us! To start off, when did you start playing golf and how did you get into it?

I started playing golf when i was 4 years old. My dad started me in the backyard with a cut down golf club. When I was little I was left handed and he’d move the fork to my right. He cut down a right handed golf club to prove to my mom that I was going to be right handed.

Wow! What an interesting story. So since you’ve been playing golf for so long, what’s something that golf does for you?

It brought me really close to my dad. It was our bonding time when I was growing up. I’ve also had some amazing opportunities come from golf. I’ve been able to travel to some really beautiful places and meet  cool people.

We can totally relate to bonding with our dads over golf! Now that you’ve been playing professionally, is there  anything you’d like to accomplish with your golf?

I want to win my first professional golf tournament and use it as an avenue for other opportunities.

We hear ya girl. One thing that you’ve done that our previous interviewees haven’t is that you were on Big Break.  Can you tell us a little about your experience on the show?

It was one of my favorite golf experiences I have ever had. I would do it again tomorrow if I could. It helped me with pressure. I never knew hitting a green from 100yds out could be so hard.

Fiamma Felitch, our golfer we love this week, was a Big Break contestant!

That show was really intense! Now, if you were talking with someone who was thinking about playing golf, what would you tell them to convince them they should play?

It is such an amazing sport that you can play for many years. It’s definitely great for the corporate world as well. As they say, “All good deals are made on the golf course.”

Completely agree, we’ve both had that experience as well. When you are competing, do you have any superstitions for before you play a round of tournament golf?

If I eat a certain thing before the round and play well I have to eat the same thing the next day.

Okay…now for some off-topic questions! Let’s get to know you a little more. You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?

I would be the color Red because my name means “Flame of Happiness” in Italian. It reminds me of a flame.

Wow! Did not know that that’s what your name meant, that’s beautiful! Alright…next one. If you could only choose one song to play every time you walk into a room for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Burn by Ellie Goulding, never gets old

Our golfer we love Fiamma Felitch!

It really doesn’t does it? Love that song. So with golf off the table as an answer, what is your favorite hobby?

Popping zits, I think I missed my calling of being a dermatologist.

That is definitely the best response we’ve ever had (haha). Right now, If you could have any guilty-pleasure food, what would it be?

Pizza or chips and guac.

We could always eat some chips at guac. Okay, last one! What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?

My new puppy decided to pee on my lap in the car, it was warm haha

Omg! That is so hilarious! Thank you so much Fiamma for the interview and the laughs.

We just want to say thank you to Fiamma for taking the time to interview with Graceful Golfer. If any of you have any questions that you’d like for us to ask future interviewees or even have a request for an interviewee, comment below and let us know!
