Farmers Insurance Open Preview Party

We hope that you all were following us on social media last Thursday, but just in case you weren’t here’s what happened! Graceful Golfer was invited down to the Farmers Insurance Open 2018 Preview Party! So exciting, right?! So we drove down to San Diego for the evening to see everything that the Farmers Insurance Open was going to have at Torrey this year for attendees. And we can’t contain our excitement, we just have to share it all!

This week will be our Farmers Insurance Open Preview Week for all of you.

So Monday, we’re going to kick off with our #MondayMotivation like usual. And then Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we’re going to have more detailed information on the amazing food and drinks to look forward to, the UTC stylist we talked to and the charity aspect of the tournament. “Introduce people to golf through other things,” Marty Gorsich, FIO COO

We had the pleasure to speak with Marty Gorsich about why this Farmers Insurance Open is going to be better than all ever before. In his words, he’s most excited not about any one specific thing but about the concept of this event this year. “The golf will be great. We have one of the best operations build guys in the game. The course will look stunning. The builds will be tight. We have partners on board. But more importantly, in events like this, we’re going to get all walks of life out there. It’s going to be a festival with golf at the center.”

How can you not be excited about this direction? This is how you bring people into the golf world without making it feel uptight and stuffy! After talking with Mr. Gorsich, as golfers ourselves, we know that true fans of the game and players will go. It’s one of the best tournaments around. The changes made to the FIO have been to make the experience of the tournament for attendees better, and who can complain about that?

With things like the Grey Goose 19th Hole and Flight Deck to a Harrah’s Resort SoCal Photo Booth (which is so much fun, btw) there will be something for everyone at the Farmers this year. And we may have heard there will be trailer restrooms instead of port-a-potties…um, yes please!

So if you are big into golf, then make sure you go watch this event because the course is stunning and the views of the ocean behind the best players in the world is just unforgettable. And if you aren’t big into golf, then you should still go! There will be so much more to do. Did we mention there will also be after each round Thursday, Friday and Saturday that there is a Post Party presented by Harrah’s Resort SoCal? Yes! With live local DJs and happy hour specials! Honestly, we just can’t see how every person wouldn’t find something to enjoy at the tournament this year.
