Having a Good Sleep Schedule on the Road

With all the travel we do, getting good sleep especially on the road can be extremely hard. I have a hard time falling asleep in general at times. It’s really important to get on a good sleep schedule! It can be very difficult to perform your best when you are lacking in sleep. We’ve all been there right? You know that you have something really important to do the next day or your alarm is going off super early. Your mind just won’t stop and your subconsciously worried about not waking up when your alarm goes off. The worst!

Here are a few tricks that help me fall asleep quickly, wake up refreshed and get me on a good sleep schedule!
  1. Melatonin Gummies– I love these gummies! I take 1-2 when I need to make sure I get a really good nights rest. Or when I am laying here forever and can’t sleep. When taking theses natural gummies, I am out in about 20 minutes. I wake up totally refreshed and I’m not groggy at all. AND they taste good!!
  2. Get Off Your Phone– It is really important when you are trying to get good sleep to get off your phone. I find myself sometimes on social media, reading emails etc for too long that I don’t realize what time it is. I turn my phone on do not disturb every night so I am not distracted with alerts.
  3. Calm App– This has helped a ton! It is an app that has different options and helps with mediation to bring clarity, helps reduce stress and a guide to better sleep. I love this app! I do also love listening to the ocean waves and reflecting on my day so this is a perfect way to stay focused and do it at night.
